Casey was my best friend. It helped me feel more social since I have special needs. I was born with it. Casey helped me make new friends and I wish she didn't get so sick in the end. I miss her alot now that she is gone. My parents don't want another dog. Sometimes I do and other times I don't.

I lost my cat Homer earlier this year -he was quite elderly and had recently gone blind - something he coped with remarkably well. His timing was superb, I moved a few weeks later and he probably wouldn't have coped well, but he would have loved my new garden, and the house is very empty without him. All good things must come to an end though.

Although time is a great healer, nothing fills the void that a well loved pet leaves. However, this site has given me much comfort, support and guidance during a very stressful time and for that I am very grateful. Thank you.

Animals are so important to us. Reading these moving tributes has reminded me of dear old friends, now gone. Darling Ben, a rescue dog, who looked like a full size collie from the shoulders up and had corgi legs. He looked ridiculous! I still miss him and his weird and hilarious habits like making snortling noises when there was kissing on the TV, or falling over because his legs were so short when he tried to wash . He was gentle and sweet except when he saw a white van, when he would transform into a raging, ferocious thing. And he had a rather odd fascination with dolls, which made us wonder about his previous life.
Thomas,my mum's old cat, has been dead for 15 years now, but his body rests under the jasmine, so I am reminded of him on summer evenings. He with us after my mother died. When he died it was as if something more of her had gone.
What a great site this is. I will be back when Harry, our fat black moggy dies, which I hope will not be for a very long time.

About 2 days ago I lost the most loving dog in the world. Her name was Toosie and she was a 16 year old Springer Spaniel. I had her since I was 12 years old. She was so king hearted. I miss her so much I wish I had more time to say goodbye. This site is very inspiring and reading the notes has really helped me today. Thank you.
